LITTLE SATIN GOWN
IRWIN—HAMILTON Jean, lite only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Hamilton, of Awhitu Central, wore a dainty little gown of ivory satin when she was married recently at the Waiuku Presbyterian Church to Alfred, the second son of Mrs. and the late Mr. John Irwin, also of Awhitu Central. Panels of silk georgette were effectively inset into the dainty frock which was trimmed with a large floppy rose of picot edged chiffon and a spray of orange blossoms at the waist and shoulder. A long tulle veil fell from a coronet of orange blossoms and formed a graceful train. A sheaf of fragrant Christmas lilies completed the bride’s toilette. The Misses V. Hamilton and M. Finlay, cousins of the bride, attended her, wearing charming frocks of wistaria mauve crepe de chine with overdresses of silken lace. They each carried a quaint muff of lavender satin and tulle. Mr. H. Irwin acted as best man, and the duties of groomsman were carried out by Mr. H. Hamilton. After the ceremony the guests were entertained at a reception in the Oddfellows’ Hall, after which the young couple left for a wedding tour.
