A LONG FAREWELL
TYAME NELLIE MELBA has decided to make her absolutely very last and extremely finai public appearance in Australia at the Melbourne Town Hall in April next year. Originally Dame Nellie intended giving her final concert next month, and then leaving for Europe. She changed her plans in order to spend the summer in Australia. Dame Nellie selected the Melbourne Town Hall because that was where she began her career.
