TESTS IN AUSTRALIA

An official return shows that as a result of the adoption of the increased height and chest measurement for trainees due to commence training from July 1, 1927. over 30 per cent, of the youths medically examined for the citizens’ forces, and over 25 per cent, of the boys examined for tho senior cadets were found to be unfit. —A. and N.Z.
