CAMPING GROUNDS BOOKLET
No motorist going on tour this season should leave without a copy of a little booklet issued by the A.AA., which sets out particulars about motorists’ camping grounds in the North Island. Great care has been taken to make the booklet as comDrehensive as possible, for 12 places North of Auckland are mentioned, and 57 towns in the rest of the North Island. Practically everywhere a motorist may camp is mentioned. An interesting feature is the reference to private camping grounds that are available, as at Tui Glen, near Henderson, and the private one at Claudelands, Hamilton. For official grounds all particulars available are given, such as shelter, water and wood conveniences, as well as all sorts of valuable information like swimming and fishing.. It may safely be said that the booklet is as necessary an adjunct for touip-, .ins as a luggagQ carrier*
