ACTIVITIES WEEK BY WEEK

The membership of the association has now reached the total of 5,600, and new members are being enrolled at the rate of 60 a week. Members are reminded of the motor outing and gymkhana to Papakura on Saturday week, December 17, in celebration of the opening of the Great South Hoad. When the executive of the Hamilton agency of the Auckland Automobile Association met last week’, Mr. W. J. King, who presided, reported that a motorists’ camp site had been selected and that the Hamilton Borough Council had offered to contribute £25 toward th-e cost of improving the area if the agency would give £SO. It was decided to vote £SO for the purpose.
