COASTAL MOVEMENTS—TIxe Akaroa arrived at Auckland yesterday afternoon from Ponui Island with a ralt of logs and leaves to-day for Hikutaia for another raft. _ The Gunbar arrives here on Thursday from Hast Coast ports and bays and sails at noon on Friday on her return trip to Last Coast bays, Gisborne and Napier Cargo will be received all day Thursday tor the Gunbar. The Katoa, en route from Port Craig and Lluff, leaves Wellington at noon today for Picton and Auckland and should arrive here on Friday. The Wingatui from Dunedin left Timaru W- , p m * yesterday for Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland and is due here next Monday. The Kaituna, which arrived at Auckland this morning from Greymouth via Westport, sails to-morrow for Portland to load cement for Wellington. The Kamo is now proceeding to Chelsea to-morrow to load sugar, and will probably sail on Thursday for Lyttelton direct, Dunedin and Bluff. The Kaimanawa is to load at Westport on Saturday for New Plymouth and Auckland and is due here next Thursday week. The Waipiata is to load at Dunedin to-morrow thence Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington for Auckland. The Waipori has been fixed to load at Greymouth on Thursday for Auckland and should arrive here next Sunday. The Kartigi, which left Auckland last evening for Westport, loads at the coal port on Thursday for Napier and Auckland and is expected back here about Thursday week. The Taniwha sails at nine o’clock this evening for Paeroa. She is due to arrive back again at 2.30 a.m. on Thursday morning. The Claymore, sailing at 7 p.m. to-day for Whangarei, returns again early on Thursday morning. The Omana, which left this morning for Warkworth, is expected to return again at 10 o’clock this evening. She is scheduled to sail at 10 o’clock to-morrow morning for Waiheke. The Motu leaves at four o’clock this afternoon for Whakatane. The Otimai left Auckland shortly before noon to-day for Kutarere and Opotiki. The Ngatiawa. arriving at Auckland at S o’clock this evening from Thames, sails again at 11.30 a.m. to-morrow on the return trip. The Hauiti, arriving at 10 o’clock this evening from Coromandel and Colville, sails again at 10 p.m. to-morrow for Kopu and Turua. The Waipu arrives late this evening from Kerepeehi. She is scheduled to sail i again at noon on Thursday for the same j port. ; The Matangi, arriving at 7 o’clock to- : morrow morning from Tauranga, sails again for the same port at 7 p.m. the « same day. The Apanui, due to arrive from Mer- : cury Bay and Tairua at 8 o'clock to-mor-row' morning, >s scheduled to sail again i at midnight the same night for the Great : Barrier. 'f’he Kawau, which arrived shortly after noon to-day from Kawau, Leigh and Mangawai, sails again at 10 o’clock tomorrow morning. The Richardson steamer, Awahou, ■ loaded yesterday for her return trip to 1 the East Coast. At five o’clock this afternoon she is to be dispatched for Tokomaru Bay, Hicks Bay and Gisbonre. The Scot sails to-night for Waipu. The Isabella de Frame is due this evening from Hokianga via Kopu. To- . morrow she is to be dispatched for Hokianga again. After completing her annual overhaul and survey, the Portland came oft slip yesterday. She loads to-day and sails toward the end of the week for Whakatane. i The Coronation is due on Thursday from the coast to load again for Awanui North. The Elsie Mary is expected to-morrow from Gisborne. The Waimea, sailing at 4 o’clock this afternoon for Gisborne "and Napier, returns to Auckland next Sunday. The West Calera, in continuation of her voyage from Pacific Coast ports, leaves Auckland on Saturday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New' Plymouth. The Crosskeys sails from Auckland tomorrow evening for Launceston, Melbourne, Sydney and Hong-Kong. The West Ivan is due at Dunedin today from Lyttelton, and sails on Friday for Bluff, thence Pacific Coast ports. SUTHERLAND FOR NAURU ISLAND. Henderson and Macfarlane advise that the tramp steamer Sutherland leaves Port Chalmers to-day for Westport for bunkers, thence Nauru Island, where she is to load phosphates for Australia.
