DEVONPORT BOWLERS TO TOUR WAIKATO
To-morrow morning four rinks of the Devonport Bowling Club leave Auckland to make a two days’ tour of the Northern Waikato. Friendly games will be played at Tuakau in the afternoon, and on Thursday matches will be played at Pukekohe and Buckland. The bowlers will return to Auckland on Thursday evening. The following players will make the tour: W. Atkin, J. Buchanan, R. Broughton, W. Bailey, Captain Gill, W. Goudie, J. Goldsworthy, E. Knight, D. Jackman, A. Moore, G. Minchin, J. McLaren, R. Watson, H. Pitts, sen., J. Sinclair, R. W. MeCallum. HARDLEY SHIELD MATCH The following players have been selected to fill vacancies for the Auckland Centre against the South Auckland Centre in the test match for the Hardley Shield and in the unofficial rinks match to-morrow: Test Match, at Remuera. —Morning: Mingins, C.
