NEARING THE END OF RECORD SESSION
(From Our Resident Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, To-day. YVTHEN the House of Represents* tives resumed at 11 a.m. today, it was expected that it would be able to complete the remaining business and finish the session this evening. Consideration had then to be given to the supplementary estimates and the Appropriation Bill, as well as several washing-up amendments made by the Legislative Council to other Bills. In the words of the Prime Minister, members should finish the session comfortably in time for evening trains and boats.
