NEW FARES WEDNESDAY
TRAMWAY INCREASES OLD SECTIONS AGAIN The new tram fares will com into operation in Auckland Wednesday morning. previously announced, the o't sections will be reverted to, a -t the minimum fare will be 2d, and increase by Id for each subsequ-l-section, with the exception that through fare to Onehunga, sis sectionwill be 6d. Concession cards will be sold on r- 3 following rates: One section, i s 6( j. two, 2s 3d; three, 3s; four, 3s 9d; a Te ' 4s 6d; Onehunga, 5s 6d. WeeH T ' tickets will be increased to 3s 9d These fares apply to the traoiw,. routes and the Mount Eden, Domini: Road, Edendale and Richmond Road bus routes. Sections on the Point Chevalier rou- s remain as at present and the scale o‘ fares is set out above. On the Buckland Road, Point Res-, lution, Parnell Park, Seaview Road and Orakei Road bus routes the sections and fares remain as at present " S Combined tram and bus concessit cards will not be obtainble lor the f-t lowing bus routes: Point ResolutioSeaview Road, Orakei Road, Hills borough, Waikowhai or West tvs Road. 3 Holders of unexpired concession cards can obtain refunds on appl-ci tion at the Tramway Office.
