PRODUCED BY MADAME AINSLEY Bizet’s grand opera, “Carmen,” will be presented by Madame Irene Ainsley at His Majesty’s Theatx’e on December 19 and 20. * Madame Ainsley will take the part, of “Carmen,” and the cast includes Misses Nancy Hanna, Mary Hamilton,
Marjorie Fair, Irene Frose, Messrs. Jean Dellore, J. De Montalk, Hugh Woods, A. E. Davies, Martin, Burr and Upton. A full orchestra will be under the baton of Mr. W. E. Webb, and there will be a chorus of 60 voices. The ballets have been arranged by Mies D. Knight. Norma Shearer’s next picture is to be “Trelawney of the Wells,” and Ralph Forbes, the blonde English star is to play her. Forbes is at present working in “Rose Marie” with Renee Adoree, but from present indications it looks as if he will have to be replaced in this role if he is to do the “Trelawney” film.
