BIG DORSAL FINS CREAT NEW RECORDS

WANGANUI BATHERS THE TWO SHARKS (From Our Oxen Correspondent) WANGANUI, To-day. A number of surf bathers on the South Spit yesterday had their enjoyment quickly stopped by the presence of the dorsal fins of several sharks. Bathers swam ashore as rapidly as they could, several breaking new records in order to reach the safety of the shore.

Sharks are reported to be unusually big on this part of the coast, and are coming very close inshore.
