DIFFICULT TO FIND GOOD STORIES FOR STARS
FINIS FOX, brother of Edmund Carewe, has been hard at work on a story for Dolores Del R i o, which will be a worthy successor t o ‘•Resurrection” and “Ramona.” The chief difficulty a star or director has to meet is the securing o f good stories. Nearly every history o f • slipping screen favourites shows the trouble to be lack of a good vehicle. The careers of Dick Barthelmess, Gloria Swanson and many others show this to be true, and Carewe is most anxious that this does not happen to pictures he makes with Senora Del Rio.
