r PHE correct card for the Wai- *- kato Trotting Club’s summer fixture at Claudelands to-mor-row is a fine souvenir booklet, and apart from its usual usefulness the card contains an interesting survey of the club’s improvements and new appointments. A picturesque view of the various stands is included, and a plan of the course makes an interesting study. Past winners of such important events as New Zealand Cup, Auckland Cup and Metropolitan T.C. Free-for-AII are given prominence in this well-devised booklet, and a photograph of the popular livewire president, Mr. R. T. Reid, graces the front page of this handy card, which is a credit to the club and its compilers.
