Slip Over Bank.— As a seaman. P. A Eyes, aged 26, was returning to hi.-, ship, the Pacific Transport, now berthed at the King’s Wharf, about 10 p.m. yesterday, he slipped on the footpath and fell over the steep bank opposite Pukemiro Chambers in Anzac Avenue. The St. John Ambulance took him tc the Auckland Hospital, where his injuries were found to include a fracture of the right leg and shock.
