Ambulance Classes. —The St. John Ambulance classes, which are held in the School of Mines on Sunday mornings, are being well attended, and very keen enthusiasm prevails among the Pupils of Mr. Geo. Green, who is conducting the classes.

Wind-Up Dance.— -As a finale to a successful carnival season to raise funds for the Catholic Church of Devonport, the Children of Mary Society held a “flannel dance” in the -Masonic Hall last night. There was a good attendance. The Kit Kat Band supplied the music.
