MR. LEE STEPS IN.—When the Licensing Bill was reported to the House with amendments, the Prime Minister refused to move that the report be agreed to. The motion was proposed by Mr. E. P. Lee, Oamaru. Mr. Lee also moved the third reading of the Bill.
