HEADMASTER RETIRES

WELLINGTON COLLEGE PRESENTATION Press Association. WELLINGTON, Wednesday. It was Old Boys’ day at Wellington College to-day. Mr. T. R. Cresswell, headmaster, who is retiring at the end of the year, was bidden farewell by the old boys and presented with a walking-stick and cigarette case. The pupils of the college presented Mr. and Mrs. Cresswell with a silver tray. Mr. A. C. Gifford Gifford, who is retiring from the staff after 32 years, was presented with a silver tea-set. A presentation was also made by the pupils to Mr. P. M. Renner, who is leaving th- staff to “take up a headmastership after 27 years’ service.
