WHAT ESTIMATE REPRESENTS Bp Cable.—Press Association. — Copj/right. Reed. 9.55 a.m. LONDON. Wed. The Right Hon. W. C. Bridgeman, First Lord of the Admiralty, said In the House of Commons, in answer to a question, that the sum of £7,750,000 on the Admiralty estimates for the Singapore base, represented the cost of developing the naval base. It did not include the cost of military and air defences.—A. and N.Z.-Sun.
