SHOCK FOR SHEEP
TROD ON LIVE WIRE (From Out Own Correspondent) PALMERSTON N., Wed - -sday
Yesterday morning Mr. C. Robinson was droving a mob of sheep along the Lady’s Mile, Foxton, when two of the animals suddenly 'collapsed. On investigating he discovered that a live electric wire had been blown down by the storm early in the week, and the sheep had come in contact with it. A sheep-dog was badly burned on the foreleg. The sheep recovered after a while and were able to proceed with the flock.
