At a meeting of representatives of sports bodies to-daV, the . advisability of forming a Duned’in branch of the New Zealand Olympic Council was discussed. Air. 11. Aiuqs, of Wellington, said the council, reconstituted in March last, had for one of its objects the sending of a team of 22 members from New Zealand to the next Olympic Games, at an estimated cost of £IO,OOO. It was decided to form a branch in Dunedin.
