PAEROA DRUIDS

NEW OFFICERS ELECTED The Star of Paeroa Lodge No. 18, which now has a membership of nearly 200, held its bi-annual election of officers on Monday evening last. Every seat was contested and a healthy interest shown in lodge affairs. Bro. Hugh Gallagher, P.A., was nominated for the office of D.P. in 1928. The following will fill the chairs of the lodge for the ensuing six months:—A.D., Bro. W. Gerrand; J.P.A., Bro. E. V. Slyfield; V.A., Bro. G. W. Brown; secretary, Bro. Wm. Turner; treasurer, Bro. F. E. Flatt; I. Bro. H. Wilton: 0.G., Bro. H. Gallagher; A.D.B.’s, Bros. M. Beattie, J. G. Wright; V.A.B.’s, Bros. F. Wood and Reidy.

The installation will be carried out by Bro. Ferkins, D.P., on December 12. On the same evening the brothers of all the lodges in the No. 10 district will bo the guests of the Paeroa Lodge.
