BOUT IN NEW YORK By Cable. — Press Association.—Copyright. NEW YORK, Tuesday. In a boxing match Phil Scott won on a technical knock-out against Monte Munn. The referee stopped the bout in the middle of the tenth round. Scott showed decided improvement, and his opponent was on the verge of a real knock-out. Scott used a right cross with deadly accuracy, and Munns was severely handled.—A. and N.Z. BRITISH CRUISER-WEIGHTS LONDON, Monday. In a boxing match for the British cruiser-weight boxing championship. Frank Moody defeated Ted Moove on points this evening.—A. and N.Z.
