EARLY DRAW APPRECIATED
rpHE field in the Frankton Han- * dicap at Hamilton has been reduced one half, the acceptance standing at 26, but.still the field is unwieldy, as 21 of the contestants are on the limit. This will necessitate a draw for positions at the barrier, and as it is a most important point, the Waikato Club would be acting in the interest of patrons by announcing the draw at an early date. How many of the public are acquainted with the positions drawn at trotting fixtures when the draw is left till almost the last minute? The Waikato committee is proving a live one in several respects and -here is a golden opportunity to get right on side with owners, trainers and speculators.
