SESSION’S FINALE ARBITRATION and licensing (THE SUN'S Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. Aiter making clear his attitude on the Licensing Bill, the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates, said in the House of Representatives to-night that the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Bill also would be gone on with. These two Bills and a finance Bill were the only measures left. Mr. E. J. Howard, Christchurch South, asked if the Arbitration Bill could be held over for a conference in the recess. Mr. Coates: You can suggest that in committee. Mr. H. E. Holland asked if Mr. Coates would accept amendments made by the House to the Licensing Bill. , „ . ,

Mr. Coates asked him to wait till the Bill reappeared, because both sides had discussed the whole question.

Mr. H. T. Armstrong. Christchurch East: Only among your party. Is this a party question? Mr. Coates: No. Mr. Armstrong: Well, why confine it to your own side? Mr. Coates: There are three distinct views in the House, and I take it that this is what matters.
