“FIREMEN, SAVE MY CHILD”

AT NEW REGENT ON FRIDAY The most famous comedy team in the history of motion picture-s has been re-united. Wallace Beery and Raymond Hatton, the pair of laugh-makers which set the world in an uproar of joy in “Behind the Front” and “We’re in the Navy Now,” appear together once more in “Firemen, Save My Child,” which reaches the New Regent Theatre on Friday. To make the reunion complete, the entire production line-up which scored so heavily in the two earlier pictures was behind the camera for “Firemen, Save My Child.” Edward Sutherland, who directed the two previous BeeryHatton triumphs, again wielded the megaphone. Monty Brice, who was comedy constructor on these twi pictures,* and has since been elevated to the post of director, laid down his megaphone for this production, and served as he did before, creating comedy situations. Since “We’re in the Navy Now,” Beery has made two comedies —“Casey at the Bat,” which has been a big success wherever shown.
