FOUR YOUNG THIEVES

BOYS’ TWENTY JOBS (Special to THE SVX.b CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. A remarkable series of thefts was perpetrated recently by a gang of four boys, whose ages ranged from 19 to 17 years. The stolen property included bicycles, which they had stripped and altered, and watches. It was stated that one boy had left school only recently, but had been in about 20 situations already. Mr. E. D. Mosley. S.M., to-day sent one of the youths to the Borstal t Institute for three years, another was sentenced to 18 months’ reformative detention, the third placed on probation. and the fourth was remanded to Thursday for sentence.
