FLOCK HOUSE TRAINEES
REPORT FOR THE YEAR The seventh annual report of the operations of the Flock House scheme states that during the year the New Zealand Executive Committee considered 67 applications lor financial assistance and granted £1,043 10s 2d to disabled sailors and dependents of sailors who lia<; died as the result of injuries received during the war. The London Advisory Committee in the same time had considered 104 applications and granted £873 2s 4d. The total cash grants to date exclusive of loans to beneficiaries and of expenditure for immigration and training of orphans amounts to £54,193 Is lid. A total of 331 boys and 68 girls have been brought out. Of these 274 boys and 40 girls have passed through their training and are in employment in various parts of the Dominion.
