TRAINERS AND JOCKEYS PAPAKURA WELL ON TOP After his great run on Saturday it was expected that the Papakura trainer, J. T. Jamieson, would head the list of winning trainers, and he did so, with 3£ wins, scored by The Immigrant. In the Shade and Ti Tree, the lastnamed also being concerned in the dead heat. F. E. Loomb (Te Awamutu) saddled up a couple of winners in .Phaola and Prodice, while R. Hannon (Cambridge) led in Katarena and Wedding March. Next on the list was M. Carrol! (Frankton), who was responsible for winners, Paganelli and the dead heater Mac room. ' R. A. Edwards (Te Arolia), King Lu; J. Clothier (Matamata), Red Comet; A. E. Cox (Te Aroha), Nancy Lee; J. Williamson (Auckland), Piet; T. W. Taylor (Auckland), Saucy Lass; P. Conway (Auckland), Whaka King; W. Townsend (Pukekohe), Royal Doulton; and J. W. Cathro (Paeroa), Miss Potoa. THE LEADING JOCKEYS T. Green, who does the riding for the Papakura stable, was an easy first in the matter of riding winners, for he was on S-l —The Immigrant, In the Shade, Ti Tree, and also when the lastnamed dead heated. Next on the list were 11. Wiggins, who rode Phaola and Whaka King, and R. McTavish, on Paganelli and Saucy Lass. Other riders to score were A. Tinker, King Lu; J. Mcßae, Red Comet; E. A. Keesing, Nancy Lee; R. J. Mackie, Prodice; Gilmer. Katarena; W. Rennie, Wedding March: A. Driscoll, Piet; A. McCormac, Royal Doulton: and K. McGill, Miss Potoa. Half a win went to G. Holland when he ran a dead heat on Macroom.
