The United States places twice as great a sum on each individual. As Australia has only two-thirds and The United States one-quarter of the trade value of the Dominion per head, what is each New Zealander worth? The question was asked by Mr. Norman Gribble in n address to the Rotary Club yesterday. Mr. Gribble spoke of the “disgrace" of the unemployment in the Dominion and said that if t v trouble was diagnosed it would be found to exist because manpower \*as not properly utilised. New Zealand needed more people in the country and she also needed her own people to be better trained.
