WOMAN’S “GLORY”
BARBER AND BIBLE ‘‘Does not even Nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair it is a shame unto him? But if a woman have long hair it is a glory to her.”— St. Paul, in his first epistle to the Corinthians, Chap. XI. A hairdresser of Campbeltown (Argyllshire) has warned his customers, by means of an advertisement in a local paper, that he has decided to discontinue all ladies’ hairdressing. This decision, he says, he has made on account of conscientious reasons, based on the teaching of Holy Scripture. By advertising the fact he hopes to save old customers inconvenience.
