PRINCESS

"BEWARE OF WIDOWS” ‘•Beware of Widows" is attractin, large audiences to the Princess Theatre Joyce Bragdon, played by Laura il Plante, is engaged to John Waller young doctor who is highlv popular with the ladies. They decided to married at once and go to resort hot*’ Waller calls a minister where Paula, a married woman, one of his admirers, happens to be stopping. Si*feigns illness and brings Waller to he* room. Joyce learns of this when the minister arrives, and jealous, leaves in a huff breaking the engagement. Time passes and Paula is divorced from her husband. Waller plans to marry Ruth, the friend of Wiliia® Bradford, who is a pal of John’s. They plan to get married on Peter’s houseboat. Joyce wrecks he* car near houseboat and is carried on boart Peter, Ruth’s father, Lx-ings Paula aboaj-d, planning a double wedding Waller breaks with Ruth and phi* to marry Paula. Joyce sets the hous-*-boat loose and it drifts in a severs storm. Joyce tells Peter that Paula loves him and when the boat strikes a rock, Peter saves Paula. Everybody but Waller and Joyce flees to safety via the lifeboat. Waller refuses to leave, as does also Joyce. An uproarious and unexpected climax straightens the dilemma and sorts out the tangled couples in an original and mirth-pro-voking manner.
