TRAFFIC MISHAPS TWO CHILDREN INJURED Press Association. WELLINGTON, To-day. A number of week-end accidents are reported. Charles Rawlinson, aged 75, an inmate of the Home of Compassion, dozed off while smoking in a dormitory in the grounds, and set the bedding alight. He was severely burned on the hands, face and neck. A small boy, J. Pointon, was knocked down by a lorry, which passed over both his legs, and inflicted serious injuries. Reginald Case, a child of seven, pulled a motor-cycle over on top of himself and broke his left leg. The lever of a motor-cycle broke and the driver W. Harrison, and his pillion passenger, Charles Neilson, aged 21, were thrown to the ground, the latter being badly hurt. He had to undergo an operation and his condition is serious. I-larrison was injured about the head.
