OUTSTANDING features of Saturday’s A.C.A. cricket were centuries by E. H. Bowley and C. C. Dacre. The honour of getting the first threefigure score of the season fell to the player-coach, but Dacre, making a surprise appearance for North Shore at Devonport, came hard on Bowley’s heels with a typical
century knock compiled with all his old dash and brilliance.
