The cliief features of the day’s play were that Kalms (New South Wales) beat Patterson (Vic.), 2—6, 12—10, 0—1; Crawford (New South Wales) beat Hawkes (Victoria), 11—9, 4—6, 6— l; Charawood (Victoria) beat Schlesinger (New South Wales), 6—3, B—6.—A. and N.Z.
