DIXIELAND GALA

RACE NIGHT CARNIVAL To-night will be gala night at Dixieland. Following a day’s racing it is anticipated that there will be a record attendance at Auckland’s popular seaside cabaret. Growing daily in popularity this favourite resort is now considered the premier dance cabaret, not only in Auckland, but also in the Dominion. Dancing will commence at 8 o’clock to-night and will continue until midnight. The first heat of the £IOO dancing competition will be danced this afternoon, decision being by public voting. To-morrow, afternoon tea will be available on the sunny balcony overlooking the beach. A musical programme will also be provided.
