UNFINISHED LIBEL ACTION Although the jury awarded Samuel Trevor Dibble, engineer, £3OO damages for libel and defamation of character against Wesley Richards, quarry foreman, the case is not yet finished. \ PPLICATION was made yesterday afternoon by Mr. -J. J. Sullivan, second counsel for the defendant, for a new trial. Mr. E. J. Prendergast, during the trial, had moved for a nonsuit, and Mr. J. F. W. Dickson, for the plaintiff, moved yesterday for judgment. Mr. Justice Reed said that, as he had the three questions to consider, lie would adjourn the case until next Tuesday for argument.
