“THE SECRET STUDIO” Olive Borden is now appearing on the screen at the Prince Ed’.vard Theatre in what is said to be the nio«: fascinating vehicle in which she has ever appeared—Victor Schertzingers production of “The Secret Studio, based on the newspaper serial by Haak Livingston. Miss Borden delineates the role of Rosemary Merton, the New Jersey village girl, who decides tx> gi\e up a college career and become a wagrearner in New York Citv. It is her experiences, based on tne ignorance and self-assurance of youth, that lead her into a maelstrom of exciting episodes. “Dame Chance,” featuring Mary Carr, is also being screened.
Polly Moran is the busiest actress at the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer studios. No less than three pictures claim her attention at once. She is playing an important role in “Bringing Up Father,” is also appearing in Lillian Gish’s starring picture, “The Enemy," and in Lcn Chaney’s “The Hypnotist.” Needless to say she is doing comedy roles in all three pictures.
