CHURCH BROADCASTING
CONFERENCE IN CHRISTCHURCH (Special to THE SUN.) CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. The proposal to broadcast church services will be dealt with by representatives of practically all the religious denominations in Christchurch on December 6. On that date there will be a conference of the representatives with the Broadcasting Company to deal with the proposal that the main points of services should be broadcast regularly from the company's studio in Gloucester Street, at times which will not con- ; flict with ordinary church services. On the same evening a sub-commit- ! tee will report to the Standing Committee of the Church of England upon the proposal to establish in Christj church a separate broadcasting station- | for the Anglican Church.
