The Rev. Dr. Scott West, Moderator General of the Presbyterian Church in Australia, returned to Auckland this morning from Christchurch. He will leave for Australia, on December 5.
Mr. N. C. Snedden, who has been attending a conference of the New Zealand Cricket Council in Christchurch. returned to Auckland by the Limited this morning.
Messrs. J. E. Mills. H. Gillespie and J. Langridge. who represented Auckland in the cricket match at Christchurch between New Zealand and The Rest, arrived back in Auckland this morning by the Limited.
Lieutenant-Commander C. IT. T. Palmer, of the Royal Naval Reserve, has arrived in Wellington from England. He will later report to the Government on matters concerning the Royal Naval Reserve in New Zealand.
The Primate of Australia and Archbishop of Sydney, Dr. J. C. Wright, arrived in Wellington from England, via America, by the Makura. accompanied by his wife, daughter, Miss I. F. Wright, and son, Air. J. K. Wright. His Grace and party are remaining in New Zealand until December 10, the intention being to visit Mrs. Greyllle Warren, of Hawke's Bay, who is ■ daughter of the visiting prelate.
