CHRISTMAS COMPETITIONS

FOR CHIEFS AND BRAVES

IN order that the Wigwam page for Christmas week may be entirely the work of the Children of Redfeather, the following competitions are announced:— I.—Short story, not exceeding 500 words. First and Second prizes). 2.—Poem, not exceeding 20 lines* (First and Second prizes). 3.—Drawing, to be Finished in Indian ink. (First and Second prizes). 4.—For Scouts and Guides:—Essay: “Christmas in Camp.” (Two First prizes). Conditions: Open to Boy Scouts, Girl Guides, and young people between the ages of 15 and 20, the entries to be written on only one side of the paper and to reach Redfeather, the Wigwam, SUN Office, Auckland, not later than December 7. In addition to No. 4, Nos. 1,2 and 3 are open to Scouts and Guides.
