FATAL EXPLOSION
BRIDEGROOM’S DEATH WELLINGTON TRAGEDY Press Association. WELLINGTON, To-day. George Jessen, aged 25. who was severely burned when a tin of methylated spirits exploded yesterday, died in hospital during the night. The other man, Charles Stanton, shows a slight improvement, but his condition is somewhat critical.
A report from Wellington yesterday concerning the accident stated that it was understood that Jessen was to have been married last night.
