MUNICIPAL CONCERT
SATURDAY EVENING An operatic programme will be presented by the Municipal Band in the Town Hall on Saturday evening next. A lovely programme will be taken from the works of Mozart, Ponchielli, Wagner, Massenet, Weber, Franz Lehar, Bizet Paganini and Verdi. Instrumental solos will be given by Mr. Hal C. McLennan, flautist, and Mr. Fred Bowes, cornet, and vocal numbers by Miss Cecilia Duncan, soprano, and Mr. Hartley, Warburton, baritone, with Mr. Leo Whittaker at the piano. Booking is at Lewis R. Eady and Son’s. Ltd., Queen Street.
