BUS THROUGH BRIDGE
PASSENGERS INJURED FIVE SERIOUSLY HURT By Cable. —Press Association.—Copyright MELBOURNE, Monday. A motor-bus, which was carrying 27 passengers, mostly employees at the Hanro Knitting Mills, crashed through a bridge into the Ironbank Creek, near Bendigo. The bus caught fire and several passengers were badly burned, and -25 of them were treated in the Bendigo Hospital. Fourteen of the passengers were admitted to the hospital, and five of them are reported to be in a serious condition.—A. and N.Z.
