The local branch of the Dominion Motors, Ltd., received a visit during the past week from Mr. A. W. Duncan, general manager, and Mr. C. J. B. Norwood, managing director. Mr. J. Park, a member of the council of the-A. A. A., left last evening to attend an executive meeting of the North Island Motor Union at Wellington. Mr. Spencer Stratton, the New Zealand motor-cycle racing expert, who has been in Australia and America for the past few years, was tendered a public welcome home at the Regent Theatre last Thursday. In a speech of welcome, Mr. E. Greenfield, manager of the Regent, read over a list of the honours secured and held by Stratton, who in a few words expressed his pleasure at being home again. j
