WHANGAREI BOROUGH

STAFF REORGANISATION The Whangarei Borough Council, at its last meeting, set up a committee consisting of the Mayor, Councillors Brainsby, Jack, and Picktnere to report upon the reorganisation of the borough staff. An application from the Whangarei Cycle Club for permission to lay down a cycle track at Kensington Park was granted, subject to the parks committee’s approval. Detailed instructions from the medical officer of health relative to the cleansing of the grounds at show time were sent forward to the Agricultural and Pastoral Society.
