PRINCESS
“LOST AT THE FRONT” "To be lost at the front in war times is an experience that might be regarded. as decidedly serious. In fact, it nearly results fatally for George Sidney and Charlie Murray, co-stars of the lively First National comedy, “Lost at the Front,” which is now attracting large audiences to the Princess Theatre. The humorous side of the big show is one that must be reckoned with. In fact, a lot of those who participated in the conflict prefer to remember only those phases that were humorous. The audiences scream with mirth at the antics of the two corned* stars who get badly tangled in the meshes of the advancing Muscovite forces during the World War. George Sidney and Charlie Murray are co-starred in this laugh-provoking picture, which was directed by Del Lord. Natalia Kingston, in the role of a Russian sculptress, plays the feminine lead. The war scenes are dramatic and funny at the same time.
