“THE GIRL OF GOLD” “Tlie Girl of Gold," tlie successful novel by Cleveland MofEatt and Anna Chaplin, which has been filmed by liegal Pictures with Florence Vidor in the starring role, comes to Everybody’s Theatre on Thursday. This spectacular story of a rich girl’s search for real love and happiness is particularly well suited for screen treatment, and Florence Vidor has a role which gives her a splendid opportunity to display her artisttry. Chief among the many thrilling scenes is a society dance staged on the 16th level of a gold mine and a great explosion while the hilarity is at its height. It is said that nothing like this episode has ever before been filmed. Malcolm McGregor who was recently seen in “The House of Youth” opposite Jacqueline Logan and in “Idle Tongues” and "The Bedroom Window,” has the leading male role.
