MORE POLICE!
AVONDALE’S REQUEST The Avondale Businessmen's Association has written to the Minister of Justice urttins the necessity for the - unioning of a second constable in the district, so that the business area can be patrolled at night. The association was influenced in making the request bv the number of burglaries which have recently taken place, the unanimous opinion of members being that additional police protection to that v hich at present exists should be provided for a district with a population in the vicinity of 10,000.
