SWIMMING

FIRST CARNIVAL TO-MORROW The swimming season for 1927-28 will be officially opened at the Tepid Baths to-morrow night, when the Waitemata Amateur Swimming Club will stage the first carnival of the season. An attractive programme of handicap events, diving and water polo has been arranged. The best of Auckland’s swimmers will be seen in action, and many interesting contests are promised.
