HIGHEST PRICE SINCE 1914 By Cable. —Press Association. — Copyright. NEW YORK, Saturday. On the Stock Exchange to-day the price of sterling cable transfers advanced to 4 dollars 87 13-16 cents, the highest since 1914. There was an extremely heavy turnover. The demand originated chiefly in Bondon. The belief that gold will shortly be moved from New York to Bondon has been strengthened.—A. and N.Z. AUCTION NOTICE Messrs. Bye and Selyt, instructed by the trustees in the estate of the late H. N. Olsen, will sell at his late residence, 58 Huia Road, Otahuhu, to-morrow, Tuesday, at 11.30 a.m., the whole of the furniture, furnishings, etc., of five rooms, including the linen. Mr. H. H. McCarthy is -the auctioneer.
